OkamiSec is an independent UK consultancy founded by Ovidiu Strinu — built around the Okami Web Intelligence Framework behind every assessment, report and recommendation.
Who runs it
OkamiSec is founded and run by Constantin Ovidiu Strinu — a cyber security and web engineering consultant with a computing science background and experience across operational leadership and SME technology environments.
The idea is simple: small businesses are targeted just as often as large ones, and are increasingly judged online, but they can rarely access the same standard of technical support. OkamiSec exists to give them agency-level security, performance and visibility without the agency price tag or the jargon.
Every engagement is approached with a governance mindset: clear scope, documented evidence, prioritised risk and accountable recommendations.
OkamiSec's work is built around the Okami Web Intelligence Framework™ — a five-pillar methodology for understanding how secure, visible, fast, accessible and AI-ready a website really is.
The framework connects disciplines that are usually reviewed in isolation. A website can rank but remain insecure, load quickly but be invisible to AI search, or look polished while failing basic accessibility and technical checks. Okami Web Intelligence shows how those pieces affect one another and what should be prioritised first.
The framework was initially developed under the OkamiScan name. As the methodology evolved beyond scanning into expert analysis, interpretation and prioritisation, it became Okami Web Intelligence.
My transition into cybersecurity consulting was shaped by the mentorship programme at SecuritateIT.com — I later discussed that journey with Ramon Năstase on his YouTube channel.
Why medical & dental
Healthcare and dental practices hold some of the most sensitive data there is, face a higher GDPR bar, and are increasingly chosen online — yet they're usually served by generic web agencies with no security depth. That mismatch is exactly where OkamiSec adds the most value, which is why the practice is built around getting it right for medical and dental clients.
How we work
Security first
Every site and system is treated as something worth defending — headers, access, patching, the lot. We practise what we sell: okamisec.dev itself runs a strict CSP and A-grade headers.
Performance matters
Slow sites lose customers and rankings. Core Web Vitals and real load speed are part of the job, not an afterthought.
Findable by AI
Search is shifting to AI answers. We build so ChatGPT, Google AI and Perplexity can understand and cite you.
We protect credentials
We never handle client passwords in plain text — password-manager sharing or user invites only. It matters more with regulated, medical clients.
What OkamiSec doesn't do
Being clear about the boundaries matters at least as much as the capability — especially for security work.
