Terms of Service

Last updated 24 August 2026.

Who this applies to

These terms apply to okamisec.dev and to any engagement with OkamiSec, an independent UK consultancy run by Constantin Ovidiu Strinu. Using this site, requesting a Website Intelligence Assessment, or engaging OkamiSec for paid work means you accept these terms.

How engagements work

Every paid engagement is scoped in writing before work begins — what's included, what isn't, and the price. The free Website Intelligence Assessment carries no obligation to buy anything; it's a review, not a contract.

Payment

Payment terms — including any deposit, milestone structure or monthly billing for retainer work — are confirmed in your proposal before work begins. Invoices are due on the terms stated there.

Cancellation

You can cancel a paid engagement in line with the terms agreed in your proposal. Work already completed at the point of cancellation is payable. There's no cancellation fee for the free assessment — you're never obligated to proceed to paid work after receiving it.

Deliverables and ownership

Once an engagement is paid in full, you own the deliverables built specifically for you — code, content and reports — unless your proposal states otherwise. OkamiSec may reference completed work as a case study; where you haven't agreed to be named, it's described anonymously (sector and problem, not your business name).

No guaranteed outcomes

Recommendations and implementation work are provided in good faith, based on the agreed scope and the evidence available at the time. OkamiSec does not guarantee search rankings, indexing, accessibility conformance, AI citation, certification outcomes, or any specific commercial result.

Liability

OkamiSec isn't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from an engagement. Liability for any single engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. Nothing here excludes liability that can't legally be excluded, such as for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This page describes our standard terms in plain English — for a specific engagement, the written proposal or contract you agree to takes precedence over this page.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we'll update this page. This is an informational summary of our standard practice, not a substitute for legal advice — if you need a formal contract review, ask a solicitor.
